Abstract
The amount of sunlight and water affect the growth of plants. In this study, there were two plants of Bassica rapa set up. One was placed in the lab under light for 24 hours and received continuous amount of water. The plants were observed twice a week and their growth was recorded for approximately five weeks. The plant in the lab flowered while the lab in my room didn't grow at all. This proves the hypothesis that water and sunlight are extremely significant for the growth of plants.
