For those who aspire to be People Managers, IPM has opened the gateway to global HR market place. It has always been the centre for the local HR professionals and without a doubt be a key regional player in the near future. I take this opportunity to show my heart felt gratitude to this great institution and specially its staff and devoted panel of lecturers for the support and opportunity given to me by way of "National Diploma in Human Resource Management".
This desecration which was carried out as a part requirement of the National Diploma was truly a great personnel experience for me. This is mainly due to the people who helped me in coping with my project while taking care of my work life and personal life. Especially, it should be noted that this would have not been a success if not for the tremendous help and guidance that I received from my project supervisor Mr.Jayantha Amarasinghe.
Finally, I dedicate this dissertation to my Father who was always my inspiration and my tower of strength.
