A project is to achieve a well defined objective and it is constrained by its scope, cost, schedule, and customer satisfaction. Since a project involves the related tasks, utilization of resources, must be completed within a time frame and many other attributes. The project manager takes an important role to lead and plan the project in order to meet the objective of the project and minimizes the problems occurred in the project.
A successful project manager should have some characteristics. First and the most importantly, he or she should have a good personal characteristic. A quote saying that "Manage peoples are an Art, not a Science". Since they are no particular methods for project managers to manage people, they should be flexible and adaptable in facing the problems among the team. When conflicts happen among members in a team, project managers must effectively communicate with them and make decisions to solve the problem. They are the one to create a positive and harmony environment in the working place, so it is indirectly increase the productivity among the team members.
