In one of Bush’s speeches about the Patriot Act as stated in Civil Liberties, “This legislation is essential not only to pursuing and punishing terrorists, but also preventing more atrocities in the hands of the evil ones.” The Patriot Act was written to help prevent this from happening again. ...
