Throughout the last several decades, they have seized their opportunities; having used their political connections to maintain an active participation in the lives of the American people. As they have pressed for resolutions or improvements in education, health care, environmental and public safety issues, none have done it quite better than Hillary Rodham Clinton, former First Lady of the United States of America. Hillary Clinton is a strong, intelligent and powerful lady. Many say she is one of the most idolized people in history.
Hillary Rodham Clinton has set the bar for the accomplishments that a First Lady can achieve. On issues at home, such as parents who work to support and take care of their children and around the world. At home, while serving as First Lady, she has encouraged policies that would help parents balance work and family, strengthen America's public schools, and provide greater opportunities to children and youths of all backgrounds, particularly those who are most vulnerable. She has sought to expand access to quality health care for all Americans, and to increase the economic security of working families. She has also worked to build support for the arts and arts education, and has led an effort to preserve America's important historical and cultural treasures.
