Ethical Relativism
Ethical relativism is the position that there are no moral absolutes, no moral right and wrongs. Ethical relativism would mean that our morals have evolved, that they have changed over time.
Ethical relativism is the theory that there is no universal moral code that whatever the majority of any given society or culture considers morally right for that culture. Each culture has its own set of rules that are valid for that culture.
There are two different types of thesis dealing with ethical relativism the diversity and dependency thesis. The diversity thesis means many individual has different opinion depends on that persons moral code. For example a lady wearing a mini skirt that is her personal opinion on how she wants to dress.
Dependency thesis is the right or wrong depends on the moral code of that particular society or cultural. For example, it was incidents that happen in Omaha in the spring, where a child had been taken from his family because it seems to be an abusive home.
