Do you know anything that eats lasagne, chases dogs, destroys a mailman, laughs, cries, goes ffft, shreds his owner and does much, much more?
If you guessed Garfield the Cat, you're right!
Fellow students I'm here to talk about Garfield the Cat.
Garfield the Cat was born on June 19, 1978 in Mama Leone's Italian Restaurant. One time he went to the Italian Restaurant where was born with his mom and met all of his family.
But the real story is that Jim Davis made him and the debut of Garfield was on June 19, 1978.
There are 38 Garfield books and the 39th is coming out in early spring.
Some other things that Garfield likes to do are watch TV, play with Pooky (his teddy bear), sleep, eat, sing and do stand-up comedy, send Nermal (another cat) to Abu Dhabi and kick Odie (the dog) off the table.
Garfield says that Odie is so dumb, it took Odie three years to learn how to breathe. Now that's stupid!..
